Western Evangelism International was founded in 2007 by Larry Jones in Ponca City, Ok.
After much prayer and careful planning a board of directors was chosen to create a plan of attack that would assemble a knowledgable and skilled team to begin the work of the ministry. The primary goal was to reach the lost for Christ with a unique 'One on One' approach that would include a series of workshops,  training seminars and special appearances to help equip fellow christians with the proper tools and 'know how' to be effective as soul winners.
Realizing the fact that there are many areas where christians have opportunities to witness, the training has been designed to cover most of those scenarios and includes 'hands on' instruction and 'role play' segments to envision actual life situations.
Ministry trips to places such as Colorado and New Mexico initiated the field work for Western Evangelism International proving very valuable as a 'check out' of ministry policy and procedures and ended up being extremely helpful in the design of future training and ministry appearances.
Our Founder and "Lead Cowboy", Larry Jones has taken the leadership role, guiding the ministry team members with love and wisdom.
Ministry prayer is a big part of what Western Evangelism International is all about. Each day begins with time in the Word and time in prayer to get that all important instruction from the Lord and then the exciting "One on One" begins. With opportunitites all around us, each day presents us with many chances to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ wherever we are.
